I am writing to tell you about an important opportunity for your personal and professional growth. Chess Projects is an amateur sporting association that was born to promote chess and the educational values that underlie this game. Since 2010 we have been organising courses, lessons, tournaments, competitive and non-competitive events on a national and international level, to show the outstanding teachings chess can offer as a “sport within the mind”, and how it can aid interior development to both public and private entities. If you wish to deepen your understanding of our project please refer to the About Us section of this website.
In the realm of education and development, we are founders, promoters and organisers of the “Chess in School” project, which was born through a collaboration with regional academic institutions to help increase the attention and concentration of today’s students. With chess, we help schools improve students’ cognitive abilities by teaching them to reflect, to think before making a move and to predict the opponent’s moves, as well as helping them channel their aggressiveness with the use of strict, precise rules, thus helping reduce bullying.
This project has already been taken on by a number of schools in Milan and greater Milan, and we are currently looking for instructors who are willing to personally engage in the role of teachers, educators and trainers, as well as being willing to improve techniques and strategies. If you wish to become a member of our team and to teach on one of our courses for children and young people, please contact us by sending your CV to firstname.lastname@example.org: you will be given the opportunity to participate in a grand project that is rich in stimuli, as well as giving many professional and human opportunities. Our instructors receive a refund for expenses regarding the teaching activity.
We are waiting for you!
