Dear Chess Players,

in this period we usually announce dates related to Salento Chess Open in the upcoming year, unfortunately this year it will not possible due to Covid-19.

It is our firm intention to organize an excellent 10th edition of the event but at the moment there are too many uncertainties to turn this desire into something specific.

By the way any decision is therefore postponed to the beginning of February 2021: we are confident that arrival and widespread distribution of vaccine to fight Covid-19 will finally grant the peace of mind to restart with everybody’s social life and sport practice, including chess as well.
