In announcing the “FIDE World Senior Individual Chess Championships 2025” our thanks as organizers go first and foremost to the International Chess Federation (FIDE) which assigned us this event, to Italian Chess Federation (FSI) and to its President Mr. Luigi Maggi who supported our bid, to the Municipality of Gallipoli which will sponsor the event and to its Mayor Mr. Stefano Minerva, to “Grand Hotel Costa Brada” and “Caroli Hotels”, involved not only as a tourist partner but as essential venues for the event, and finally to our sponsor CNP Vita Assicura for the usual and valuable support.
