On the occasion of the 15th Salento International Chess Open 2026, the City of Chiavenna sponsors a prestigious beauty award for the chess players participating in the event.

The “Chiavenna 2026” beauty prizes will be awarded by Indian Grandmaster Ramesh R.B., along with the “Alfiere Bianco” staff.

The beauty prize consists of a FREE REGISTRATION to the INTERNATIONAL CHESS TRAINING CAMP AND TOURNAMENT 2026.

This registration can be used to participate in the free “Level Up” chess training (worth € 400.00) or the “FIDE Trainer” course (worth € 300.00).

To compete for the prize, players must report their deserving game to the arbiter’s table, in any of their first five rounds of the tournament (from May 23rd to May 26th) by the end of the game session.

Winners will be notified directly at the awards ceremony. In addition to the free registration, they will receive a commemorative plaque.

Accommodation during the “Level Up” or “FIDE Trainer” sessions is the responsibility of the participants.
